Books are meant to travel. To move between cities, cross borders, and find their way into new hands. For Makan, art book fairs are an essential part of publishing, bringing our books into direct conversation with readers, artists, and communities around the world.
Since our first art book fairs in 2024, our participation has continued to grow, from 10 fairs in 2025 to 20 in 2026. Beyond presenting our publications, these gatherings allow us to reach new audiences, build lasting relationships, and create opportunities for exchange across different artistic practices, cultures, and geographies.
