At MAKAN, each book and object is carefully packed and prepared for shipping. We want you to be happy with your purchase and are here to help if something isn't right.

Returns

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery. To qualify for a return, items must be in their original condition, unused, and carefully packaged to prevent damage during transit.

To request a return, please email frommakan@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return. Once your request has been reviewed and approved, we will provide instructions and a return shipping address. Please note that returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

We take great care in packaging our publications and objects. However, if your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us at frommakan@gmail.com as soon as possible.

Include your order number and photographs of the item and its packaging so we can assess the situation and arrange an appropriate solution, whether a replacement or refund.

Limited Editions & Handmade Objects

Many MAKAN publications and objects are produced in small quantities, with some editions assembled or finished by hand. Minor variations in binding, printing, trimming, or finishing may be part of the intended character of these works and are not necessarily considered defects.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the status of your refund. If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. Depending on your bank or payment provider, additional processing time may apply.
