Everything I Can Offer to the World at this Moment by Angela Lian

Everything I Can Offer to the World at This Moment, a new artist book by Angela Lian, brings together stills from performances and videos, collages, drawings, and text in a work rooted in the body—its limits, repetitions, and capacity for care. For Lian, who lives with chronic pain, movement becomes both a negotiation and a form of care, with gestures echoing and shifting across the pages.

The book’s physical construction extends this relationship to the body. Small enough to be held in two hands, it features a printed fabric cover carrying traces of Lian’s own movements, wrapping the pages like a second skin. Sewn elements, foldouts, and pages that open beyond their initial form invite the reader to touch, unfold, and discover. Rather than offering resolution, the book stays close to its title: a present-tense gesture of what can be made, held, and offered now.

Angela Lian (b. 1999, Pontiac, USA) is a Taiwanese and Chinese American, queer, disabled artist and designer based in the Hudson Valley, New York. Her work spans design, illustration, dance, and video, often combining analog techniques with themes of memory, chronic pain, and embodied ecology.
